Shine Inside Out (1-8)
Shine Inside Out is a series developed to nurture emotional well-being, inner strength, and life skills in children. Aimed at Classes 1 to 8, it is designed to support the holistic development of learners, as envisioned in the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023.
In today’s fast-changing world, children face several emotional and social challenges—ranging from exam stress and peer pressure to screen overload, fear of failure, and feelings of loneliness. While academic learning continues to be important, the ability to understand and manage one’s emotions, make responsible choices, and build healthy relationships is equally essential.
The content draws from everyday situations that children encounter, such as exam stress, friendship difficulties, emotions like anger or sadness, setting boundaries, and fear of failure. Themes like peer pressure, exclusion, and growing up in a changing world are handled with empathy and care. The series also introduces concepts such as self-care, emotional safety, kindness, digital balance, and respect for diversity, in ways that resonate with children’s lived experiences.
