The Company was established in the year 1950 by Late Shri Suresh Chander Gupta. He had been awarded by lifetime achievement award in the year 2003 for his contribution in the field of education by 'The Federation of Educational Publishers in India'.
The Company has been publishing quality educational books and has over 1000 titles to its credit in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Kannada, Malyalam, Bengali, Marathi and Punjabi languages. Recently it has launched books in French, German, Spanish and Japanese languages also.

It has a large distribution network through its branches at Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Patna, Lucknow, Kochi and Mumbai. At present Mr. Atul Gupta, is the Managing Director of the Company and Mr. Ankur Gupta is another young and dynamic Director. Another feather was added to its cap in the year 1996 by having a sister concern Rachna Sagar Pvt. Ltd. In the year 2005, Best Publishers' Award is also credited to the Company by courtesy of 'The Federation of Educational Publishers in India'.
