Languages are the medium through which we communicate. Each region has its own regional language and one must understand the importance and beauty of regional languages.

To enlighten the role of different languages in the education system, New Saraswati House, (India) Pvt. Ltd. initiated a beautiful concept of integrating languages through a common platform- Language Symposium. The symposium was held on 5th August, 2017 at Sri Satya Sai auditorium, Lodhi Road. Language experts from all over the country were invited to be a part of the event that comprised regional language presentations- Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. There were also Hindi and Sanskrit presentations by respective language experts. The topic of the presentation was- Role of regional languages in education. Various Principals and HODs from all over the country attended the event. There was also a round of panel discussion by different language experts, the topic for which was- How to make language teaching more creative. The event hall was full of enthusiastic teachers who attended both the presentation and panel discussion sessions.

Music is the language that is common to everyone and that’s what was planned for the evening through a dance and musical performance by the professional dance troupe who performed a dance show on the song- Mile Sur Mera Tumhara in multiple languages that jelled well with the theme of integrating the beauty of different languages. There were awards and recognitions for various veterans in the education sector followed by a Gala Dinner.
